Brothers:

As the holiday season is officially here, I want to wish happy holidays to all the Brothers and their families, and take a moment to reflect on what this time of year truly means. As we get busy with family, shopping, parties, and all the festivities, let us also remember those Brothers who may need a bit of brotherly love—a phone call, a visit, or simply a friendly check-in with someone we haven’t seen in a while. Our Fraternity is rooted in charity, support, and the bonds we share, and during the holidays it’s important that we not forget those among us who may need a helping hand or a warm reminder that they are not alone.

As we look ahead, I wish each of you a healthy and prosperous New Year. Let us take this time to reaffirm and re-acquaint ourselves with the timeless Tenets of Freemasonry—Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth—so that we may continue to grow both as men and as Masons in the year to come.

Brothers,

I hope this communication finds you well. As we approach the season of giving thanks, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families for a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

For our second meeting of the month—the night before Thanksgiving—I’ll be continuing my tradition as Master Barkeep by bringing a special bottle of bourbon on the house for all witch will include a special holiday toast.  It was a big hit last year, and I’m looking forward to sharing a new updated toast again with all of you.

May this time of gratitude remind us of the many blessings we share — the bonds of brotherhood, friendship, and service that unite us as Masons.

Fraternally yours,

W:. William Mountzouro

October 22025 From the Editor’s Desk

Brethren,

As the leaves begin to change and the crisp air of autumn settles in, we are reminded that October is a season of reflection and preparation. Just as nature prepares for winter, so too should we, as Masons, prepare ourselves in both mind and spirit for the labor ahead.

This month, let us renew our commitment to our obligations and to one another. The bonds of brotherhood, like the falling leaves, remind us of the cycles of life and the importance of standing together through every season.

I encourage all Brothers to attend lodge this month and take part in our work. Whether it be ritual, fellowship, or lending a hand to a Brother in need, your presence strengthens our chain of union.

May we continue to labor in harmony, always remembering that our light shines brightest when we share it with others.

Fraternally yours,

W:. William Mountzouros

August 2025 From the Editors Desk

From the Editor’s Desk:

Brothers:

Though the lodge may be dark for the summer, the Light of Masonry never dims. The warmth of the season reminds us not only of the sun overhead, but of the inner light we cultivate through our principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

Summer is traditionally a time of rest and reflection in our Masonic journey. As many of us enjoy vacations, family gatherings, or simply some well-earned time off, it is also an opportunity to strengthen our bonds outside of lodge walls. A simple coffee with a Brother, a ride, or a phone call can continue the work of fellowship just as surely as a gavel opens a meeting.

A Masonic Moment in History

Did you know that the laying of the cornerstone of the United States Capitol took place on September 18, 1793, during a grand Masonic ceremony led by none other than Brother George Washington? He wore full Masonic regalia and used a silver trowel to spread the mortar—reminding us how deeply our craft has shaped not only individual men, but entire nations.

As we enjoy the summer sun, let us also remember that we are part of a timeless fraternity whose principles endure across seasons and centuries.

Let this summer be a time of Light—one where we reflect on our obligations, deepen our friendships, and return to lodge in the fall refreshed and inspired.

Stay safe, stay connected, and keep the Light shining.

Fraternally yours,

W:. William Mountzouros
